I am inspired by the Jurassic coastline of Devon/Dorset where I live, I am also a keen traveller this year my work has been influenced by my recent trip to Iceland and later this year I will be travelling to Australia where I am sure I will be gathering inspiration for my next project.  I am a keen photographer and work from both sketch books, memory and images which I have collected from my journeys of exploration.

After a busy month and preparing for several exhibitions I am now taking bookings for April Contemporary Encaustic Wax & Mixed Media Courses  - I offer personal tuition and small group classes from my studio near Lyme Regis, Dorset.  In between exhibitions and running workshops I am now continuing my work with clay & encaustic wax, making small sculptured forms - I will also be running courses 'Clay meets Wax' in the spring - more detals to follow.

'I had a fabulous 2 day intensive workshop with Dawn in May.  This was my first experience with the technique and Dawn's enthusiam for her craft was catching. Dawn was very attentive and informative, it is clear how much passin and knowledge she has for her Art.  She adapted kindly to my inexperience allowing me to experiment and move at my own pace.  She has also been wonderful at keeping in touch.  I highly recommend this workshop.
